With the weather finally warming up in Boston, it’s a great time to explore neighborhoods and try local cuisine. You can do just that this weekend and two great events.
The 17th annual Taste of North End is on Friday evening, 6-11 p.m. at DCR’s Steriti Memorial Rink. You can buy tickets online on the website. The Taste of the North End was founded by Donato and Nancy Frattaroli in 1993 as a benefit for Casa Monte Cassino. This year the event will benefit the North End Community Health Center. On Saturday, May 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ,join the Metropolitan Area Planning Council for a community-led tour of Chinatown, one of Boston’s most vibrant and fast-changing neighborhoods. The tour, which will be followed by a lunch of traditional Chinese fare, will begin at and benefit the Asian Community Development Corporation, 38 Oak St. in Boston.
